We just have to keep taking it. Mitch is here for the long haul and there's nothing we can do about it, especially as long as basketball is doing well enough to distract our fans

Any UK administrators watching this game should be sick to their stomach. Thanks Mitch!

You're assuming admins at UK care about winning football. 30 straight losses to UF(and being humiliated by CBS talking heads on national TV) says NO, 29 out of 30 losses to UT says NO, 7 straight to Miss St says NO, 5 in a row and counting to UL says NO, 4 out of 5 to Vandy says NO. If those embarrassments and humiliations can't get you motivated to build a program UL's current success won't cause a ripple to them.

I like Mitch.

Met him at a Fan Day once.

He shook my hand, slapped me on the back, and thanked me for being a fan.

Mitch is OK in my book.

Shaking your hand and saying thanks doesn't make him a good athletic director. Smh.....

People must live in Louisville to let the cardinals success get to them , I'm not concerned with how Louisville does other than when they play uk .

Good for you. In 2007 we got ranked as high as #8. UL finished with a 6-6 record. Now UL will be ranked in the top 5 and UK would consider a coach with a 6-6 record enough to erect statues and rename streets. The difference? An AD with vision, intelligence, and the willingness to use it.

Thats what I'm pointing out , that people are obsessed with what Louisville does whether it's good or bad . Louisville to me is a rival but not the barometer I use to determine where uk is . That's why I said people must live in Louisville because that's all they are concerned with .

I would love to know if Mitch saw (heard) this today.
Pretty much labeled UK the worst program in all of college football.

It should matter to you when you consider that Louisville is reaping success that we could be experiencing had Barney had the stones to hire Petrino.
What matters to me is that we have problems , not that Louisville is having success . Louisville has nothing to do with us , you're only making yourself mad for nothing . I'm watching back to the future on amc , not upset at all . This won't be fixed shortly , don't kill yourself .

I'm not sure I understand the point. The point is everyone said BP should have been UKs coach. MB said no, he went to UL and is winning huge. We don't care what UL does, we care what UK does. We care we suck and the coach everyone not named MB knew we needed is winning huge.

I live in Louisville and you should be concerned with what Louisville is accomplishing.
Over the past twenty years, Louisville athletics have advanced at a steady pace. The number of Louisville fans has increased, with the number of Kentucky fans decreasing. In my opinion the Kentucky fans are older and aren't being replaced with younger fans.
Louisville is considered a more appealing choice and their fanbase is increasing.

I hope there is only like 15,000 at CWS hell that is,still 15,000 to many

Honestly the only way fans can make their voices heard is to not show up. If fans kept coming stoops could be here as long as he liked. Everybody needs to stay the hell home. Go for tailgating but then leave, let the admin look as ridiculous as they already do announcing the attendance at 50K plus while roughly 20,000 people sit in the stands. If you don't demand a better product you will never get one.

He really should have considered hiring a guy who put one of his previous schools in legal/financial trouble.
