He won't be the only one taking Hanson deep this year. Glad braves could trade him. Thought him and jj were gonna be next great braves' pitchers and neither panned out
To be fair, JJ was nails until injuries derailed him. Hanson showed flashes, but couldn't get deep enough into games. And he's still young enough that he could put it all together. That said, I was happy as hell we moved him. Unless he stops trying to strike out everyone, he'll never be an effective starter.
I know he was with the O's during spring training. Dunno if he made the team or not. Might've signed a minor league deal, so he may be with their AAA club. I'd have to look.
Upon further review, JJ was optioned to Baltimore's AAA club. I'm rooting for the guy to make it back. Unfortunately, I think the injuries have made him a shell of his former self.
