Wasn’t the largest crowd I have seen there but it was a good crowd. Granted lots of folks left early.

I really didn't think Avery was that bad they played Draughn much better then the score. I guess Draughn better look out playing Madison next week

Avery has no coaching, a coach that throws the ball 50 times a game every week in the WHC is not going to be very successful
After this year I’d say ones that want to go let them go. They beat NB 47-24 so I’d say let them have them.

Nah those boys will bounce back. To be honest last year I don’t think my sons group makes the state run if not for that loss to mitchell. That got some of them on the same page as the rest just talking to him and some of his teammates. If that Mitchell team would show every week, I'd take them against anyone come playoff time. That was the team that thumped Erwin, ground it out against Watauga, and welcomed Draughn to the WHC. The team that played Andrews, Owen, and Madison, they won't make it to the 3rd round.

Agree to that. He’s definitely a weapon that we are very thankful to have. I’m sure he’ll be called on again before it’s all over. He’s a great kid , the type that wants a 40 yd fg to win put on his shoulders. He uses every minute of practice to get better you won’t catch him standing around doing nothing. Happy he’s getting the positive recognition he deserves…
