Not just you. ESPN has had him as “Best Available” since like pick 65.It's apparent I over valued Jack Bauer.

They coming to campusRound 17 done with Jacob Parker and Jack Bauer still available.
He was predicted as high as 22. I'm guessing he wants to be playing college ballIt's apparent I over valued Jack Bauer.
That's about $80K per year for 4 years.Jacob Parker goes in the 19th round at #573.
Jack Bauer is invaluable, ask Chloe. It's apparent I over valued Jack Bauer.
19th round, 573rd pick. Will Jacob Parker get more than $150k?My understanding is that anyone rounds 11-20 can get up to $150K but anything over that counts against the bonus pool.
Wow, wonder what we are paying them? It's obvious they told the teams they wouldn't sign.Round 18 done with Jacob Parker and Jack Bauer still available.
2 rounds left.
That’s a wrap. Round 20 is done and Jack Bauer went undrafted.
Done dealIs that a sure thing he's coming or is there some kinda free agent deal that can happen??
Looks like young Mershon is in the fold for MSU. Good news.Has his brother been picked? He'd be another nice piece to get to campus.
Nothing matters but wins but 2026 may be the most talented roster ever in Starkville.
My guess is Jacob Parker is in the fold.Well, we pretty much know the roster for next year at this point and its a really good one. Jacob Parker is really the only player that is in question at this stage but hopefully he will come to school as well. All the other players and signees of ours that were drafted will almost for sure sign. I was very surprised we didn't have more signees and transfer portal commitments get drafted that we would have to sweat out. Hickson is the only portal player lost and only losing 2 HS signees for sure.
1) I said maybeAre you serious?
Sincerely,
Will Clark, Raphael Palmero, Jeff Brantley, Bobby Thigpen
Why would you spread it out over 4 years? If you’re comparing it to his college option, he’s only got 1 year of eligibility left. Dude was 2-7 at Rice last year, albeit with a semi-decent ERA. If he’s got a $407k offer, he’s absolutely gone. No way we are paying that in NIL for him.on top of that its about $35K/year annual salary in the minors so spread that out over 4 years, he is looking at about $135K/year
Is the pre-shitting?I'm excited, but I'm gonna take a wait and see stance. We likely just lost our entire weekend starting pitching and a few other experienced arms from an NCAA team.
We will be depending on some talented guys taking a large step up in responsibility. It could go very well, but not a sure thing.

heard he had a number that he was not budging onThat’s a wrap. Round 20 is done and Jack Bauer went undrafted.
And the most notorious, hard-nosed agent in baseball. It doesn't surprise me he does it to two or three guys every year. But hey, good for us!heard he had a number that he was not budging on
SMM doing work. Thank you for your service.I'm excited, but I'm gonna take a wait and see stance. We likely just lost our entire weekend starting pitching and a few other experienced arms from an NCAA team.

Good point, but this is going to be a DEEP roster. We may not have 4 players specifically as good as those 4, but we’ll have a fully funded scholarship roster for the first time in my lifetime. Are you serious?
Sincerely,
Will Clark, Raphael Palmero, Jeff Brantley, Bobby Thigpen
It will be interesting to see how the two brothers' careers progress. I wish them both well.
Well dang, where is the fun in that? Join the hype train!! Woo-hoo!!I'm excited, but I'm gonna take a wait and see stance.
