hand the ball off to the guy who goes in motion more to try and get to the corners. I thought we could have beaten KY on the ends a number of times. Of course I do not know enough about football to understand what a QB reads (if he does) to determine if he should or should not hand it to our guy. Is the fake more to keep a D off balance because we sure do not hand it off very often?

..the 'cats about 14 points shy of our prediction center's 'tri-model.' Very difficult to predict with any degree of accuracy when twoSEC programs are on the downer. The plus side, Dawgs with the win did separate from the bottom tier...for now. But, please tell me what benefit there will be in playing Tiny Martin, is it so Dan can take another knee?

1.Because whether he scoresor doesnt in the last seconds of a game he wins makes one 17ing bit of difference.

2. Because he didnt figure someone who would be dissapointed in UK's output would know the 17ing difference in UT martin and UT austin

3. Because when you fire the dubmass that scheduled the Georgia Tech's, WVU's, BYU's, and Houstons, you suddenly realize watching a bowl doesnt pay as much.

Whomever the 'our' is that you arespending so much time within thecenterneeds to put down the comic book.

We averaged 1.2 points per minute of possession
They averaged .45 points per minute.

Rushing yards we won 134 to 118 on 7 less atempts.
Passing yards we won 264 to 189 on 14 less catches (15 to their 29)

Other fun stats: We won despite a 0:3 turnover ratio.

Passing yards per attempt: MSU: 12.6 UK: 5.0
Yards per rush : MSU: 4.2 UK: 3.0
Yards per catch: MSU: 17.6 UK: 6.5

Our average scoring drive (100% touchdowns) was 2:45, covering an average of 76.3 yards.
We were only stopped by UK's defense (punting) 2 times the entire game.
Getting lost in all of this is this fact - we were -3 in turnovers in an SEC road game and still won. Sure, UK isn't Alabama or LSU, but it wasn't that long ago we would have melted down and assumed the fetal position, and then blown out.

...the QB is in charge and the only one who can see everything in that situation. The snap doesn't come unless he calls for it. He's the one who brings Green in motion. Tough to blame the center (who's not looking back) or Green who isn't expecting the snap.

if he didnt signal or if Green motions to the wrong side or what have you...We see centers snap the ball all the time without the QB knowing it's coming- Romo had it happen 4-5 times in the same game early this season for Dallas....

I didnt see Relf give the signal for the ball to be snapped- but I was drinking and talking, and could have missed it- so I cant say 100% that he didnt. Both he and Green looked mighty damn surprised the ball was snapped. And considering we have a R-Freshman center- I know who is probably the one to blame.
