Greetings, SixPackers.
If you live in or around Jackson, there's an event Monday that I think might interest you. At 6:30 at the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum, I'll be part of a discussion with former Mississippi State basketball players Bailey Howell, Doug Hutton and Larry Lee. We'll talk about the 1963 Mississippi State-Loyola game and the era of which it was a part. Rick Cleveland will lead the chat.
Beginning at 5, I'll be signing and selling copies of "Champions for Change." I'll be around after the discussion, too.
Admission is free. I'll donate a portion of the night's book sales to the MSHoF. Come on by.
If you can't make that, I'll be at Lemuria Saturday at 3 o'clock.
I'll also be at TurnRow Book Company in Greenwood on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. And I'll be at Campus Book Mart in Starkville Friday at 3.
Here are more details about the week ahead.
