good pick up to back up Chris Paul but they still need a dominant center who can stay healthy.

On the surface it looks like the beginning of the end for CP3 in NO. If that's the case, it probably means the beginning of the end of the Hornets in NO.

I do know that Chris does like New Orleans however and they can use both of them from what I saw last year. When CP3 sat, they struggled. They still need another big man to help David West and being in the division they are in, it will never be easy.

why else would they draft 2 point guards in the top 6?
It's the T-wolves. They make the Grizzlies look like a model franchise. For all we know they just went by Bilas's best available and just thought the name Johnny Flynn sounded cool.

I don't know Chris - and I doubt you do either - so I don't know what he likes or dislikes. But I do know that superstars tend to want to be on the biggest stage possible in the prime of their careers.

i was actually kinda hopeful that the t-wolves would add some talent around big al. instead, they took two point guards and a shooting guard. i like ellington at 28, but rubio and flynn just doesn't make sense. if one of the two was curry, i'd understand, but i think neither rubio nor flynn are decent shooters, so i don't see how they play together.

on the other hand, i really like what memphis did with thabeet and carroll.

I tried to have a civil discussion with you on sports but I realize that is impossible. and yes, I do know CP3. I had season tickets to there games and went to dinner with him twice after a game with his stockbroker. Now, he told me he loved N.O. So I will take him at his word and maybe he might want a bigger stage but knowing Chris, he will do everything to help Colisson improve.

That might apply, if our resident jock sniffer was telling to truth. Only problem is, I'm not that gullible. Because coastdogbreezelover has a history of stretching the truth. But for what its worth, I was in LA over the weekend. Had dinner plans with a business associate and they asked if they could bring a couple of friends along. Turns out it was Kobe and the guy from those Dos Equis commercials - you know, the most interesting man in the world. A few of the Laker girls joined us and it turned out to be a pretty cool night. See how easy that is?

I could care less if you think I am a jocksniffer and I damn sure don't have blewballs either. I do know this, I have worn a jock on the collegiate level and I doubt you ever wore one in any competitive athletics. Why don't you go play in your Ky trailer park and pick a fight with some of those folks who appreciate your inate knowledge of everything. As usual, you highjacked another thread but who cares, it has become the norm rather than the exception with you.

Coastdogbreezelover is almost as bad as Bulldog Backer when it comes to sharing with the masses his travel plans. He let's us know where he's going, where he's sitting, and which newest best friend he bumped into in the men's room. I happen to remember a thread a couple of years ago where he announced that he was going to New Orleans and was asking about tickets to a Hornets game. Not the kind of question a long time season ticket holder asks.

Do you honestly think a guy who's starving for that much attention would let a couple of dinners with CP3 go without mention?

I really think you're smarter than that.

I have had season tickets the past two years for the Hornets and I could give a **** if you know where I travel because if it is anywhere outside of a Ky trailer park, it is farther than you've gone. You made a statement about CP3 and I corrected you based on first hand knowledge, if that bothers you go 17 yourself. Why not just buy some Louisville or UK tickets so you can praise them all year long. I forgot, you are too damn cheap to buy tickets anywhere, and the busfare is a little steep for you to go in the first place.

in golden state. supposedly, the deal is curry, biedrins, belinelli, and brandan wright for amare.

also, rubio is threatening to stay in europe, and the knicks are talking to the t-wolves about him.

That's a really good deal for the Suns. I don't like it too much for the Warriors tough. That's a lot to give for a guy who in my opinion isn't a franchise player. I know I'm one of the few who isn't a fan of Stoudemire, but other than his ability to dunk, he's never really showed me much. I also think leaving Steve Nash and the "7 seconds or less" offense will hurt him considerably. I love Stephen Curry wherever he ends up, and he probably fits better in Phoenix.

Minnesota royally screwed things up taking Rubio and Flynn. In 5 years, Rubio will clearly be one of the top 2 players out of this draft. It was already questionable as to whether Rubio would go to Minnesota before they took Flynn, but when they took Flynn, they basically sealed the deal that Rubio will be playing in Spain for a couple more years.

The only salary dump is Stoudemire, and I'm not even sure you could classify him as that. The move is for rebuilding on the Suns part. Wright and Bellini were both drafted in the last two or three years (both still on their rookie contracts) and are good young promising players to build around. Biedrins has been in the league for a while, but he's still relatively young I believe. Add those guys with Curry and you got a really good young nucleaus to start rebuilding around.

and they definitely need to move t-mac, i don't like giving up aaron brooks. that deal would probably include scola, battier, or landry (or some combo), and would be too much, in my opinion. plus, amare is a free agent next year. any deal should be a re-sign and trade. the rockets may feel like they can sell brooks high right now, though, and i guess i could see that.

i think amare would fit very well beside yao - he's not really a back-to-the-basket post player. he's better when facing up and cutting, which could play well off yao posting up.
