I have never seen a team that strands runners like this team...This is an ongoing theme for us. 6 hits 1 run!! Leadoff Double bunt him over and we cant get him in! We are cursed!!

Then we take Moore out whos pitching a gem and turn it over to the worst bullpen in the history of ****** baseball. I am shocked they have 2 men on and no outs!!! We have no one to blame but ourselves for this loss.. Now bases GodDamn Loaded and nobody out. Great idea Cohen, lets turn it over to the pen that has been great for us this year.

Moore was over 100 pitches, and had just given up to back to back walks before getting a K to save his butt.
He was spent.

The bullpen is horrible though, this is true.
and Houston cant field a bunt, and Jet screwed up covering the base.

I don't think there is anyway you could expect him to go 9.

At some point you have to give it to the pen, and usually that's going to get us beat.

The pitching woes were expected. The inability to get runners across, particularly the inability to put the ball in play is the biggest disappointment of the year.

7-1 ULM still 1 out! Thats how you God damn hit with runners on base! Its a ****** Shame that we cant compete with Damn near division 2 teams! Welcome to Rock Bottom!!! I cant wait till we get this group of *****'s out of our program and gets some guys that have a little more talent than division 2 teams have..

guys swung the bats last year, I expected us to look better at the plate. We aren't near as aggressive looking in the box as I thought we would be.

I knew we had no pitching, but thought our hitting would be more Cohen-like. I also was convinced we would not have a sub .500 season and would make it back to Hoover. I'm beginning to wonder now. I realize this program is under a major overhaul, but it may take longer than the couple of years I initially thought that it would.

there was just no reason to expect so many strike outs with so many guys returning. There was no way to foresee that C. Powers and Collins would struggle so much. Nor could we foresee that Freeman would be so slow recovering from injury and not have won an everyday place in the lineup.

The crazy part is that we have some guys overperforming like Sneed, Butler, and Deloach. Hell, if you would have told me those guys were going to hit like this then I'd have said we can score 8 runs a game on the weekend.

from the pen. If we can't, then we shouldn't have let him throw so much last night.
