In reality, you'll all probably just get pissed and start telling me how stupid I am, but here goes.
It makes no damn difference whether Ron Polk stands up for Forrest Moore, whether he agrees with Cohen, or whether he does a dance in the courtroom wearing a maroon colored tutu. It's a LEGAL matter and therefore you have to look and see whether there is a LEGAL argument.
You all know as well as I do how ridiculously serious the NCAA is about ALL of its rules. Hell, they almost caused Rich Rod to lose his job a year earlier based on this exact stuff....practice hour limits. So don't sit here and act like the accusations don't threaten Cohen's job status. They do. Whether the former players are "sore losers", "pussies", or whatever else, the fact that there are 2 corroborating affidavits is not good for Cohen. Whether or not this pans out, he's gonna have a microscope on him for the rest of his career.
In court, I don't know what sort of evidence Forrest has as to the existence and development of his injury as it relates to your coach. But to sit here and act like every bit of this is ridiculous and to debate whether your own former coach(who loves your school to death) is conspiring is just absurd. Look, if the lawsuit is frivolous, it'll get thrown out. But Cohen's got a pile of **** at his doorstep, and the NCAA is paying attention. I promise. Yall just better not hope any more former players join in the chorus. If so, this could get ugly.
Bring on the hate.
After all, "frivolous lawsuits" aslways get thrown out.
