The way Mooresville played against Northwest Guilford, it seems like they have some adjustments to make. Too much inconsistency. I hope the defense makes adjustments to limit those big plays against East Forsyth.
When you talk about top defenses in the state. The level of competition matters. MHS has played a very average schedule. You can cheer for them and be realistic at the same time.

GM4 Conference was Weak as heck this yr.

Mooresville D does have talent and that is true but Mooresville D can be had and it has been shown before - NWG while it was 2 play only and 1 was a 1 handed incredible catch but 2 long pass that go a TD or Deep into our territory so Mooresville has given up big pass plays before - Run is usually decent and holds up but Issue is
Mooresville in its past has struggled with Greensboro/Winston teams and also We struggle with teams who match up with talent - EF QB is a UNC commit. Also EF conference was weak as well
About anything. Some friends and I are coming up. We just seeing what is good is available. Any kind of home cooking or just a good restaurant
J Peppers is a good spot not too far from East Forsyth.
Smittys is also a good spot but it gets crowded very quickly and especially on a Friday.

The referee help EF escape Mooresville u had a clear PI on D and u had I guess a Personal foul on Mooresville and they called just the penalty on Mooresville and Mooresville stalls and EF score 35-24 EF

When then school was built many years ago, it was a very rural school (much like Ragsdale, NW Guilford away side), the stadium hasn't kept up with the times.
Reminds me of SV game where Mooresville gets ****** over again
The refs gave a Pass complete that should been incomplete which happened on mooresville side n it look like he bobble it n it hit the ground
And then late We had a Clear DPI on EF he was grabbing the jersey as the WR went up and they called a personal foul on Mooresville n they only marked the Personal foul off only unless im missing something please tell me

As much as I wanted Mooresville to win, they shot themselves in foot more than once. 2 lost fumbles, 2 missed FG’s, and a very questionable fake punt attempt was enough to sink them. This one is gonna sting. The officiating didn’t help things either. smh
I will say Mooresville didn’t help themselves but those 2 big calls gave EF 2 TDs which if u don’t have those calls u never know but yes I agree with this statement but Mooresville was the better team once again n lose
Refs didn’t cost us. Horrific play calling did. Why we didn’t line up and run the ball when our run game was really effective tonight when we did hand it off. Missing 2 FGs didn’t help, and turning the ball over deep in EF territory twice didn’t help either. We probably left 13 points on the field tonight
End of the night, offense lost us the game. I thought our defense played really strong tonight. Just ran outta gas.
But over all, great game, it was the entertaining game we all knew it would be. I was very impressed with our crowd turnout, we brought a huge crowd.

Instead of 35-24 it could been 24-24 so referee helped EF to stay in it
Congratulations to Mooresville for great season. Didn’t turn out like we wanted. But at least they did get past 2nd rd and almost won a 3rd rd
Mooresville going for it on 4th down with 8ish minutes left to go in the fourth was definitely a choice.
You are wrong on both calls. East played awful. That’s the only reason it was close. Hope next week East brings their A game.
We needed to… defense was gassed at that point. We had to try to manufacture them some time to regroup… East was gashing us up the middle and had we punted the ball back east at that point.. I don’t think we liked our chances to stop them.

That was offensive holding and pass interference on offense. Both fouls on offense.
Yall played well and definitely have a great team. Maybe instead of worrying about the DPI, you question "why you fake a punt on 4th and 10". East was struggling to go the length of the football field.
Turnovers determined this game. I thought Mooresville had the opportunity to increase their lead coming out of halftime and a costly fumble gave East the momentum they needed followed up by a touchdown. Mooresville is a very good team and could have easily won tonight. They were physical and ran the ball very well.
We've trailed this year before last night for starters. EF got bad calls as well like the first half fumble by our RB that wasn't. That bad call led to a score for you. You fumbled in the 2nd half which led to the score to put us back up. Officials didn't help us. I believe you all abandoned the running game to soon. We've had no answer for it all year and don't know why you all seem to go away from it. If anything you all helped us more than officials did. Your QB also missed some wide open throws that would've gave you an even bigger lead. Before you say the refs helped us make sure you recount all the points you all left on the field. #20 was a monster all night when you ran him.

The Winston Salem Schools are 3-1 vs Mooresville for the past 2 years. And all Mooresville do is play the blame game on the Refs when they lose just like the Reagan game earlier this season and the same vs MT Tabor from a year ago. Cry babys. How about that personal foul in the 3rd quarter when a Mooresville player threw a EF player out of bounds? The refs didn't throw flag on that. And that last drive? I believe the refs gave Mooresville a break to score on that last drive. Just man up and admit that Mooresville lost to a team that was just a little bit better. Both teams had their share of fumbles. Great game played last night.
