Now ths was the score with 4:49 left in the first half when the game was halted due to lightning around 7:45 pm. According to sources, the game will not resume tonight as it is a school night and it is still storming. The game is set to resume tomorrow night, why? I do not know. Statesville has not crossed mid field the entire first half. Go figure.

Ok, game time is set for 5 pm. This gives both teams ONE practice day to prepare for Fridays opponent as JV games are slated for Thursday. Mooresville will host N Lincoln this Friday but Statesville has Lake Norman coming to town. I dont get it.

Game was resumed at 5 pm. Mooresville quickly tacked on two more scores and a running clock ended the game before 6 with Mooresville winning 42-0.

Idk if Mooresville has improved this much from week 1, or if Statesville has fallen off the map. But 2 shutouts in 3 games, i like it

looks like turnovers are killing Statesville, along with poor defensive play. Mooresville appears to have found their "groove" on offense. funny how people were calling them predictable after the WR game. the defense has held up very well since the second half of the Hough game. Paxton and Co. are doing a damn fine job with those kids.
