Mooresville led 37-0 at the half and tacked on another score early in the third quarter to put this one on ice. A running clock got us outta there before 9:00. The defense got three picks and a fumble recovery on the night. Hopewell is really struggling. Kannapolis is not and they will pay Mooresville a visit this Friday to close out non-conference play.

Well it was nice to see us on the right side of a result, but back to reality this week i think.


As for Hopewell.. What has happened to that program? Even last year, even though the wins and losses werent there, they had pretty good size and good athleticsm. But this year? Wow. All their size is gone. All of it. It simply looked like our varsity was lined up against a jv squad with the difference in size. And maybe Hopewell is playing a lot if sophomores... That i dont know. It was just surprising to see
