according to Coach Dorsey in the clarion-ledger some of the players were leaving campus, stealing cellphones, violating the dress code and disrespecting administrators and teachers. Supposedly the "paddlings" with the weight belt were for that. Some of the parents want to keep him. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Problems:
1. I think that City of Jackson Public Schools don't allow spanking.
2. One parent says they were more like beatings rather than spankings (there is a difference).

Good things:
If they were leaving campus, stealing cellphones, violating a dress code, or disrespecting a teacher or administrator, then I would be okay with a spanking. I wouldn't mind if my kids were spanked for those offenses.
