I notice all the elite coaches are being “made” at the same couple of schools….funny how that works.

Terry is an unknown. He might be better or worse. He can take a job and we will see. 200+ D1 jobs out there.
Looking at it another way, Terry only has 1 less BIG championships than Franklin.
let's be honest this entire thing has been f'd up. But where to go from here 12/4? From all media indications, everyone who was on the board is now off. We know and Kraft knows it. So, in a logical world, you stop the bleeding and hire Terry Smith. But Kraft hasn't done that. why? Does he know something the rest of us don't? Kraft is not stupid, if he's learned one thing, as soon as a name is thrown out that name gets a contract extension or a raise. Now I don't have any idea as to the state of play. But championship weekend is this week. If Kraft's pick has a team in this weekend's game then the best thing to do is hold firm, get a signature on the contract and then announce it. So maybe that's the plan.

Franklin was never a COMPLETE coach, therefore never a great coach JF never understood how important POWER football is and adapting to the SITUATION at hand was. Flawed Offensive Football philosophy .

Franklin was like a frustrated baker. He had all the right ingredients, mixed them together but the cake was always off just a bit, or in at least one case, quite a bit as per this year. Based on the number of players sent to the big plantation of the NFL, the ingredients were top shelf

What the hell are you talking about? Are you a Franklin relative. He was paid like a top ten coach so yeah we deserve more than 1-18 against the top of the Big Ten. If you don't think we deserve better than 1-18 then we are all wasting our time.

2 national championships in 46 years….being a middle of the road program for a large part of his last 16 years….have to look at the full body of work.
