My friend is on the event staff and he has been doing stuff at the stadium to supposedly show in the next day or two..
ASSUMING THIS IS DONE FOR A COACH
Not to try to get everyones hopes up, BUT we would not need to spruce up a stadium for coaches that have already seen it (Tubbs, Dooley, and any other coach we have played in football). They have already seen it. However, it would be wise to do this for someone who has never seen it ( Petersen, Patterson, Kelly, <insert name>).
I may be looking into it to deeply but it seems stupid to waste time and money to make something look nice for a return visit.

I thought he was on Saban's staff while at LSU. Recruiting Coordinator? Maybe i misread something.

It is kind of interesting that Petersen's raise was taken off of the agenda of that board meeting. With the Oregon job being filled and I had heard that Greg was still working on him. I think if there is hope of getting Petersen to MSU then Byrne will get him. If he does, lets go ahead and take LT's name off everything and replace it with Byrne. Petersen could very well be the biggest hire in MSU history if Byrne manages it.
Saban was his mentor...he was like an apprentice with Saban being his mentor. We have a "golden opportunity" as Mr. Jack would say. I hope we hire Derek Dooley. If we don't, we will be kicking ourselves in the *** about five years from now. He meets the Byrne criteria.

That could very well be true, but why do we need to impress architects? My buddy mentioned that architects have already been looking around before this order came down.
