Missouri DE Damon Wilson sues Georgia's athletic association and collective after they said he owed nearly $400K after transfer

Wilson transferred to Missouri after the 2024 season. Georgia says that he needs to repay the remaining balance of the NIL contract he signed a year ago.

I hope both of them win their lawsuits.

The players are making big boy money and I have no problem with the schools holding them to the terms of their contracts.

And if UGA coaches really were telling other programs that he was making more than he was to discourage them from making him an offer, they should be held accountable for that.

Neither side wants the rules to apply to them.

I read an article about an 80s "flesh peddler" (go between for the booster to pay players), he said never pay them up front. Pay them after the games, if they need extra money, like to fix mom's car, pay the bill directly never give the player the money.
