The outback bowl.... early in the game, I remember the 85 Bears stopping Iowa for a 3 and out. Then after 3rd down, Willie Gay runs up field 20 yards, throat slash, drive extended on penalty. Iowa gets a FG. Next drive, Abrams blows a coverage and some dude that runs a 5.7 40 goes 70 yards and nobody could run him down.
Late in the game, State has opportunity to take the lead. Fitz hits WR in the chest in the endzone but wr plays volleyball with the Iowa db for a pick
Late in the game, Iowa gets the ball and the 85 bears just need to stop them. Nope, Iowa reels off some first downs, kills minutes off the clock and extends the lead.
so many opportunities blown in that game.

Nope. Nobody wanted the job. Cohen did an incredible job with search and hire. We just need to learn to appreciate whatever we get no matter how bad it is.
