Awesome atmosphere and it happened to be my 21st birthday, I too fell off the wall in right field and was in a walking boot for about a month afterwards but it was worth it

that's the most fun i've ever had at a sporting event. 07 super regional comes in at a close 2nd though. i had a lot of fun at the 09 egg bowl too just because we were just suppose to get dominated and it ended up being an *** beating of epic proportions.

...the last few days have been horrible.

I love that the 2007 Super Regional is on a lot of lists. There were a ton of people there, and it's tough to beat a good baseball game that comes down to the wire. I drove up from the Coast that Friday listening to the first game on the radio...I fully expected to see 2 games that weekend, but the one was awesome.

along with tens of others that night. Bastards. I used that bad boy down on the refuge and national forest when deer and turkey hunting. I almost never saw another person when hunting because of that. Only once did I see a guy about a mile in. Dude was on a trail with a flashlight. I turned off my headlamp and zoomed by him. Lucky I didn't get shot. But damn it, I am nearly certain he had to clean out his britches and likely told people I was a 17ing ghost. I never turned the lamp back on because of a full moon and a wide trail. Maybe it was karma that the ghost bike was stolen. Maybe it was the guy I scared shitless. I bet he put a GPS on my truck to find me.

What about Dave "the Hawk" Phares hitting walk off homer in Gastonia to win Regional in around 1970. Or Rick Dixon's grand slam to beat the Vols for Sec Championship.got to be an old fart for those 2

we were in left field when that big fight broke out. About ten UM football players tried to take on our whole student body. What a 17ing brawl.

Left field lounge was rockin. The beer was flowing and if I remember correctly, both Barry Larkin and Will Clark hit homers in that game.

players literally still at my feet while I yelled at them telling them the game was over

a hyperventilating 17 year old telling the players "DOGS WIN"... while they continued to grab for the "fumble" that never was a fumble...

the line judges had already seen the bamer nose guard knock the ball out of Hull's hands before the snap... they saw, declared the game over, but the pandemonium that erupted kept the remainng linemen from knowing the game was over and they continued to fight for the "loose ball"..

and I was there yelling at them while they were at my feet... I passed out and my dad had to take his whiskey bottle out of the brown bag for me to breathe into to recover from my hyperventilation...

a few minutes later Dad tried to kiss Bully and Bully bit his lip and made Dad bleed...it was great...

Crowd that night was the most electric I have ever witnessed. When Welcome to the Jungle hit in the second half and everyone was singing along and ringing cowbells to the beat, that was unreal.

With the '96 Bama game thrown in there, too.<div>(also, wasn't the Florida ***-kicking in 2000? I remember the '02 team being hideous).</div>

Walked, slipped, and slided all the way over from Arbour Acres. Had taken plenty of Cold Medication, but it didn't make a dent.....until Ken Harvey cold-cocked that Alabama player. Right then and there, the crowd went wild and my fever broke.

I have to go with the 2009 Egg Bowl. I walked in that morning not knowing what to expect. The last time we had played them was the low water mark for MSU football for many of us. Dan was rebuilding the team, but we had been unable to get over the hump. It was such a wonderful day of celebration from begining to the end. We had turned the corner. Ole Miss came in so high and confident expecting another romp. That was the most fun from begining to the end.

I have been to plenty of others that had higher implications, but they were usually exhausting.Second place would have to be the 1998 Arkansas game.

I think it was a record at the time. The fight was awesome, and I have never been to any event that was like Madi Gras. Too bad all the Youngsters here missed on that night.

As a kid: '98 Arkansas. My mom said the only way she knew where I was (pre-cell phone) was that my cousin put me on top of the field goal when they got it down. Otherwise, I'd long been gone. Then we went to his frat house where his frat brothers would bet me and my brother a quarter or whatever to write cuss words on it. So, I'm sure some people got some nice pieces of the post with "****" and "damn" all over them. Sorry if it was you.<div>
</div><div>As a student: Transferred to State after playing soccer in JUCO. My first summer living there was the Super Regional with Clemson. Sat in LF and was one of the first to jump down. That's a really long run when you're out of shape, but I didn't notice it until I got near the mound, went to yell, but had to get some air instead. Also went the dugout and high-fived Polk. Don't care if you like him or not, that was pretty cool. Wish I had a picture of that, but I had a circa 2005 Nokia then. I think camera phones were kinda new.</div><div>
</div><div>Also highly enjoyed the Alabama win.</div><div>
</div><div>Lot of the basketball games were pretty fun, as a kid mostly.</div>
