Mount Airy vs North Surry

Mount Airy is looking like they are hitting their stride now.
What did I tell you in week one after the Starmount game? I stated that the Mt Airy vs Starmount game wouldn't be near as close, if the two teams played about 4 weeks later. I stated Mt Airy would improve at a faster rate compared to most other 1A schools because of the young talent. All teams improve, but Mt Airy would improve More compared to its peers. It's pretty clear now that my statement in week one was spot on and I stand by it. If Mt.Airy and Starmount play tomorrow on a neutral field, MA wins by 3 or more touchdowns. I said that after the game in week one and I'm saying it again.
Starmount got crushed by Forbush....make that 6 TD's. On a side note...N.Wilkes looked as good against Forbush as East Surry looked against East Wilkes...The MVAC conference may be fun this year..you cant tell from week to week who will win. I kind of like the parity. Bad thing is there are mainly 2a schools in the conference and all will get eaten alive come playoff time.
First good post in 6 weeks print , good thing you saved your money last night,, you can spend it in late November when you come to the granite city to see the bears play for another western regional championship, and a chance to play your beloved Vikings 
Im from Wilkes lil homie.i support us first.lol..but.it's 2a..there will be no Wilkes...Surry..or Stokes county teams goin to the 2nd round.in that classification...i doubt i see your beloved Cardinals in the Western Regional.either...You guys yes..but not E.S..
