Let me apologize to the Pisgah coaches, team and fans (not they care or it means a hill of beans). I didn't see this one coming.
Credit to East Hendo, their kids played hard through out the game. Mitchell didn't execute very well at all, again credit to EH. Mitchell must have had 125 penalty yards or more. Several Holding and an unsportsmanlike penalty took away scores and cost Mitchell huge gains on several plays. Must clean up these mistakes before Owen.

Bears defense got it done.We only needed one point but we had nine.MH probably had more yardage but they were never inside the twenty.Proud of my Bears good luck to MH rest of the year hope you get by Reidsville this year.As for you Mitchell guys I hope MH kicks your butt.
Now now, we were trying to do you guys a favor and this is what we get?
we were inside the 20 on the first drive, all credit in the world to Pisgah’s deffense but it dosen’t help getting the ball inside the 5 every punt and giving the them the ball in your own territory every punt our offense is a bad snap away from going 4 straight games without a td scored

In all seriousness, that was a defensive heavyweight fight. Both coaching staffs knew what the other was doing the whole game. The two interceptions were the difference. One to score the other to finish milking the clock.
This game was a lot like the Murphy game. The Murphy game was sloppy on both sides. This game was sharp as far as defense goes. Mistakes from pisgah won the game for Murphy, just the opposite tonight MH made mistakes Pisgah capitalized.
MH will be fine in conference and playoffs. 42 is a freak! Good luck Heritage the rest of the year. Beat Reidsville.

Yes Mountain Heritage, a #4 ranked "powerhouse" just got shut out, and guess what, yeah now go wallow in your tears because the Bears just did something nobody's been able to in a long time and because of that I'm thumping my chest!
Mitchell County Mountie, try to love more and hate less. Seriously you'll live longer man. Oh, and it will be a Heritage clinic when Heritage plays y'all. Just saying.
To all you haters, no doubt, you now have more to hate us about after this upset tonight but hey, us Pisgah folk tried to warn you.

It helped a lot! Practically all of Haywood County knew our odds of beating Greenville was slim to none, but we know that no team is undefeatable and played as such. Big time games against big time teams like Greenville and Mountain Heritage go a long way in the ole war chest.
If they can fine tune their passing game, they won't loose another this year.
