After seeing Franklin beat TC as bad as Reynolds, I’m convinced the M7 can have a good showing in the playoffs. It’s no scrub conference, should be competitive.
Don't think so .look like Bears going to Ledford..West will host West Mecklenburg. Tuscola VS Stuart Cramer,Franklin VR Freedom, Smoky VS Eastern Guilford.All at home except my Bears. is just preliminary ,they have already changed it once.
They just posted said the seedings will begin at 10:30.Of course that could change or take til five thirty.
High School OT believes it will be a Pisgah/West rematch in round 1. Updated this morning:
I think you’re looking at RPI alone, that’s gonna change because precedence is given to conference champs first. For example, South Point was sitting at #2 RPI but West will jump them because they’re conference champs. That will bump some teams back and put you somewhere around 30-31 when all Conference champs are placed first.
I'm looking at the NCHSAA RPI rating .They just posted the final ranking and Pisgah still number 28.,West number two.
It seems ridiculous for these teams in a split conference which can easily get a high seed by winning one or two games in conference and yet have a record of 5-5 or worse and still be considered a conference champ (West Charlotte, Erwin), and can possibly get at least two home playoff games, over a 9-1 2nd place team or such, where does common sense come in, regardless of how tough the conference you play in is, there should be some sort of stipulation in these situations... doesn't make much sense.
