Mountain Six (Final Regular Season Week)

This week finishes the regular season of the Spring 2021 season. As expected, we have some tight numbers and close races going into post season with one week of regular competition left. Looking for my Bears to finish strong and hope for a post season appearance.
This week's matchups will be;

Pisgah 5-1 (3-1) @ Brevard 4-2 (3-1).

Smoky Mountain 2-4 (1-3) @ Franklin 3-3 (2-2).

East Henderson 0-6 (0-4) @ Hendersonville 4-2 (3-1).

The second place team from this conference seems to be in a good position to gain the only wild card in the 2a West.

Unless west stanly beats mt pleasant then mt pleasant and Pisgah would both be 4 and 1 .
I guess they would flip a coin to see which team gets wild card and which team will be left out?

I'm hearing that if Mount Pleasant wins, we are in, if they loose that would make us even, then a coin toss would determine.

Think u might come down to a coin toss then. West stanly has only played 3 games....granted not against the best competition but in those 3 games defense hasn't been scored on.

West Stanley has played four games and they are 3-1. In those four games they have scored 93 points and their opponents have scored 70 points.
You might want to check your source..

That week 4 score is wrong...no way Anson beat them much less 70 to 0 lol I don't think they played.

Pisgah by 6
Bears playing tough and this one determines shares in the conference title with Hendersonville as well as a possible playoff berth.

Franklin by 3
Franklin in the Pit for the battle of Cowe will be hard to beat if they are healthy. Should be a good game.

Hendersonville by 42+
The lights are on but nobody's home in East Henderson. Don't understand and probably never will why they have scored only 14 points in six games this year. Sad.

Pisgah by 2. Nailbiter, my stomach is churning even thinking about this game. Reminds me back when Pisgah had to beat Brevard to make the playoffs, the way the conference was set up.
Smoky mtn by 10.
Hendersonville. East Henderson kids deserve better than they are receiving from the people in charge.

Probally not , but who knows with Hendersonville.
I did watch the Bearcats at Brevard last Friday , The Question I have is how did Brevard win 4 strait games. They were lucky Hendersonville didn't beat them by 40.I expected the Blue Devils to be better this year. Also if Hendersonville don't turn the ball over ,they will be a tough out come playoff time.

I think they will surprise some people. You guys played them earlier this year and if y'all meet again in postseason, I wouldn't assume that they are the same team as before.

Its got to be somebody , I figured Hendersonville might have mercy on there neighbors.

If the Bearcats play like they did in 2nd half last week vs Brevard it will be running clock by halftime.
I pull for Hendersonville unless they play my Cougars. I even pull for Mitchell if they play some team I never heard of.

Hey y'all. Haven't had much time to keep up but I know PHS, BHS and HHS all have the one loss. With a Pisgah win tonight (Good Lord Willing)....who goes to the playoffs? I assume Pisgah and Hendo would share the conference championship right? But who goes to the playoffs? Thanks ahead of time for any info. Go Bears! Let's get this win tonight and at least complicate things!
