Central Davidson vs Montgomery Central
Ledford and Oak Grove have a lot to play for this week... Both need to win to keep up in the standings and both want to win badly against a rival. Ledford has not beaten OG since their first game when OG only had sophs and juniors, but the games have been close and entertaining. I expect that to be the case again with second place and a chance to back into first later possibly on the line. There will be a huge crowd so get there early, as there will be no parking at Ledford and you will walk a mile to the stadium otherwise.
North started out fast last week, fizzled, then were able to hold on for a much needed win. This week should not be as problematic. Asheboro has not been able to score a win since opening week and most of the games have been lopsided. I believe that trend will continue.
Central is in high gear and get to fine tune this week before a showdown with ND next in a huge game to determine first place.
