If it doesn't go to Robinson then this award loses all cred just like the Conerly. Don't like the CL anyway. I don't buy into the whole conspiracy theory crap though, I just think they are terrible at their jobs. I'm not sure Rod Walker could be a decent janitor.

Nobody knows more about the past 15+ years of high school sports in this state than he does. Football, basketball whatever. I have been around him a few times and the amount of names, stats and history he has at hand is amazing. He is as committed a high school sports writer as there is anymore. I think he does a great job. Glad he covers Mississippi.

What is amazing is he ran against 8-10 men in the box every game. Hell Greene County put eleven in the box. Louisville, West Point, Itawamba, Lafayette, Aberdeen, New Hope, Green County,Houston(yes , Chris Jones's Hilltoppers) and Kosiusko were some teams that the Tigers slaughtered. All top quailty teams.. Bradley and Robinson will play somewhere and Teams will say How the 17 did we not sign them??. Oh yeah I forgot they whupped 5-A Starkville ***, like a red-headed stepchild.

25 man signing classes make it nearly impossible. Wasn't Mr. Football a couple years ago from USP and didn't have any offers hardly because of grades? In the old days he would have been placed.
