That should be a hell of a weekend.

12 Mississippi kids, 10 of which are very committed to MSU. It's going to be a family atmosphere where all of those guys feel like they are buying into something that in 4 or 5 years could be something special. Jones, Kailo, and Mix have said that for months and now they all get to come together and experience it at the same time. I think this is going to be our selling point under Mullen as long as he's here.

And I understand OM is bringing in a ton of high profile recruits, but how many of those actually have a vested interest in OM? Their big weekend may look like a who's who in college football, but out of the 23 they have coming on their big weekend, only 6 are actually committed to OM. I think the type of atmosphere we will have around our big visit weekend is going to really impress these MS guys.

Setting up to be an excellent weekend for MSU, no doubt. We had Conner right where we wanted him this entire past week -- completely surrounded by MSU commits. Glad to see us trying to do the same on his OV weekend. Only OM commit in that game(wr Derrick Jones) is openly campaigning for an MSU offer now as well...

We should offer him. Not only for the recruiting benefit, but I thought he looked like he could be a pretty damn good possession guy yesterday

I agree...

On the usual year in Ms, we'd be all over him... I just don't know if we have room for another receiver. If we lose one of the ones we have committed, I could see it.

Thanks for alerting me on the typo.

Hattiesburg defensive back Tony Bridges on the most enjoyable teammates this week: “Man, I’d have to say Deon Mix and Tony Conner and Chris Jones. Those guys are wild and just a lot of fun to be around. They love to laugh and they don’t get in any trouble. I’d love to play with those guys every day.”

Which would open up a spot for Jones, IMO

We had Woods committed and lost him so why would there not be another spot for a HS receiver anyway? Believe we need the 2 JUCO WRs regardless of how many HS WRs we take due to the loss of all the SR wideouts this year.

We may have another slot - I don't know.

We're also dealing with a bigtime numbers crunch now that wasn't a problem early in the process as well...

I'm guessing his spot

Either got taken by Corey Smith the JUCO slot WR from EMCC or we are waiting to see what DeRunnya Wilson does.

We've got a month to figure it all out.
