Shaun Smith - breakthrough playmaker. That's freaking hilarious.

Final judgment: Wait and see. Way to go out on a limb.

Final records equal 30 games. We play 31 in the regular season, plus the SEC tournament and the NCAAs. You = suck @ the math.

Congrats on getting a click from me. It'll be the last one.

Shaun Smith- I don't see it happening

Deville Smith will move Dee over to the 2 more than Smith plays in the game

Renardo was calling for a breather less than 3 mins in the 2nd half at the 1st exhibition game. Not sure how good a shape he is in.

Steele will spell Hood at the 3

With Lewis looking much improved every year I have seen him play, I think we will be happy to see him in the game this year. Renardo can rest as much as needed and we won't go down the crapper as fast as normal when our bigs come out.

Moultrie is a beast with a motor like we haven't seen in a while down low. Give Renardo his motor and he wouldn't be playing this year here.

This team will go as far as the coaching allows.

Is it just him criticizing Mullen on the LSU QB changes or is there more to it? The reason I ask is that the article's mistakes don't merit the harshness of criticism. Plus the Omar Conner piece is actually good.

...it ought to at least be good. There are plenty of good MSU related sites and sources out there. Thus far - other than the interview with Omarr - this one is nothing more than what about 20 different people could put together in about a half hour a day.

He predicted Michael Carr to catch 50-something balls last year as a true freshman. He also has damn near every senior on our football team getting drafted by the NFL (including Relf - not exactly the prototypical NFL QB).

Before you bust my chops on the Shaun Smith thing I actually didn't call him a breakthrough playmaker in my original writing it was changed. I just wanted to clarify that. Everyone is hype on Deville but Shaun was a big time prospect before his hip injury in high school. If he is healthy he can be a majorcontributor.<div>
</div><div>I guess John Lucas a crack pot he said same thing about Sidney calling him one of better talents he's ever coaches. His conditioning must improve but he is a big time talent.</div><div>
</div><div>The 30 games thing game thing was fairover-site. Most teams play 30 games. So, that's what I went off of. I didn't add tournament. Thanks for pointing it out I can tell the editor to make the adjustment.

The Site has just started so they are adding more content as they go. It's only been up for two weeks. So, that is why there isn't more content from other schools but they are looking for people to do high school, ole miss, junior college, and other colleges in the state. <div>
</div><div>Sometimes all you have to do is ask a question instead of criticizing something without knowing the process that's going into the website.</div>

Yes I was incorrect on that but one of the coaches told me how impressed he was with my breakdowns. The projections was the one real mistake I made. But I was trying to do it different than the rest so sometimes you are wrong. I put to much faith in a freshmen but heck most of the coaches thought he would be impact player so are they crazy to. Before you say how do I know. I talked to them.

If you're on this board pimping your writing, it would probably help your cause to be able to write without every sentence containing a grammatical mistake.

You're the 'writer'. If you don't want to be hounded by the grammar nazis then write better. It is pretty simple.</p>

Shaun Smith was all hype out of High School and has a hip. He is hurt and will not see much time if any on this year's team. Hell, he didn't even play in the first exhibition game this year.

Now Deville Smith is the real deal, and if he can stay in class, then he will be our starting point guard by years end.

Why do you have random pictures at the top that have nothing to do with Mississippi or MSU?
A trolley from San Fran?

Not my site for one and this isn't a MSU site. This isn't a MSU site but I am only sports writer for the moment. I plan on putting some none MSU stuff out next week. We just focused on MSU stuff at first.

I'm sure he'll write more gooder in the future...

I, for one, don't think anyone should be allowed to title a post "Hey, this is a piece I wrote on xxx", and then only link the story in the body. First, it doesn't matter whether you're writing about MSU, you're simply trying to drive traffic to your site. Second, it would be different if (1) someone else posted the link, or (2) he put some actual commentary to drive discussion IN THE POST.

But, hey, pimpin' ain't easy.</p>

You have to promote and make people aware whether they like or not. It's a free site and will be a free paper so i'm not soliciting subscriptions or anything. There are other areas that people can read. I think when it's a paper it will make a lot of noise in North Mississippi.

I definitely understand getting your stuff out there.

For whatever it's worth, I would be more willing to click on a link in a post that says "I think Shaun Smith is the breakout player this year. See my breakdown here <link>", than just throwing "season preview" in the title and a plain link in the body. Maybe that's just me, but I didn't click the link the first time because there was no proverbial hook.

Oh, no. It's just begun. And it will last as long as you produce crappy writing and try to pimp a site that has nothing to do with MSU sports.

Please don't think this is a roasting. These people are being very nice to you compared to the brutality others will inflict on you.

For the kid's sake, I hope you coach better than you write.

Allow me to ticket the Grammar Police:

Crevice, not "Crevace"

kids', not "kid's" (unless you envision a one-person team).
