this is a MUCH better version than the black one's we currently use. Once again, nice job Chill.

If your school colors are maroon & white, what exactly is your inspiration for wearing black jerseys?

look fine but this does look like some team in Hattiesburg since there is prettuy much ZERO maroon in this version (grey/silver pants and black jersey with silver stripes)
First, let me say that I really appreciate all these mockups you're doing. I love the retro maroon and great unis.
Also, I'm a fan of black jerseys in general. But I don't love these. I think the uniform needs more maroon so the helmet doesn't stand out so much. Problem with that is maroon and black don't contrast well on a jersey.

If teams can get creative and it appeases the players I won't say **** unless I just find it absolutely hideous. Color scheme isn't as important to me any more.
You have said before that you haven't been an MSU fan very long, maybe that has something to do with it. I have been an MSU fan since I was born, 35 years ago (so you know I'm not a blue hair) both of my parents have degrees from MSU. To me, it is borderline blasphemy to have a uniform that isn't Maroon or White. This black jersey stuff is stupid and the major thing is that it looks like ****, everytime. I don't mind them messing around with the maroon or white uniforms, I thought the egg bowl gold thing was kind of cool, but leave the black **** alone, please. IT. LOOKS. <17>ING. As far as I'm concerned... you're not out there strapping up and playing for the university. If the players want to roll with it, then I'm behind it. Yea, maybe how long you've been a MSU fan does indeed effect your perception to the school's colors, but as much as you may not like it, the university isn't trying to please you with the uniforms. A lot of athletes are indeed using how teams look as a factor. No matter if you think that's dumb or not doesn't change the fact it's important to a lot of the others that it directly concerns. Lastly, it's not all about getting recruits, but also making sure that your current players have something else to look forward to and get excited about. So I'll say this to you, it really doesn't matter if you think it looks stupid... this is for the players...not you...or me.<div>
