I have recently taken some pictures and would like to start a running picture thread. Please post any pictures of Starkville or MSU if you have some to contribute. I will start off in honor of Independence Day:

I do not have the pictures on me, but I intend at some point to post at least one of Stromboli's and their mural painting.

We truly have a beautiful campus. Nothing like walking through campus on a bright Spring morning with a cup of Starbucks coffee from the Union and seeing the beautiful drill field and all the spring flowers in bloom. Bells from the Chapel of Memories playing "Hail State", and a cool breeze blowing....

Or walking through campus on a beautiful early fall Saturday morning with a cup of beer/whiskey and seeing the beautiful women in short/tight dresses. I'll take the playing of Hail State and cool breeze though.

They're building a new, small, "Fresh-Market" cafeteria. Its going to be a completely different thing then Perry, in that they'll be preparing food as ordered.

DORMAN. It has GOT to be next on our list of renovation/demolition. Hideous. Campus looks great though. Awesome progress.

This is true for multiple generations. My dad was amazed in 86 from what he remembered in 62.
I usually go to all the football games and amazed at the campus now.

Can you get a picture of a dining establishment in the union at OUR ag school that offers a hamburger or BBQ? Or is it still filled with sushi and noodle bars?

/seriously thanks for the pics. Great thread idea. For those of us far away, it is much appreciated. Haven't been on campus this decade.

The home of the muscadine wine's first batches. Worked with Dr. J.P. Overcash on that research as a work study student in his research lab.
