Great game by the dawgs.. I was delightfully suprised by how Stans and our players preformed last night.
We lived by the 3 ball, kind of.. We shot 50% but only attempted 20 three pointers, is that a season low? I like it though. Nice not have to Live and Die by the 3.
The Dawgs attempted 57 shots and only 20 were 3 pointers.. Still need to work on those free throws, made 12 of 21... Out rebounded UF 38-34, yeah!!
We started with four guards, but we actually played a more traditional lineup for a lot of the game. Kodi got some PT finally and look what happened(15 min, 9 pts on 4 of 5 shooting) he played some defense, hustled, got a steal... Benock got 7 points in 11 min, Elgin played 12 min had 6 pts and 4 boards b/f he broke his ankle, ouch!! I hope he can come back next year okay...
Is Stans actually learning that his 4 guard lineup was just a gimick and that we do not have to rely on 3 pointer to win games?
Say it ain't so....
