Please tell me 1 fact that you KNOW why Ray won't make it past 3 years.

Your and idiot. "Give me a fact why he stays past 3 years?" See how that works? My opinion is that he will probably win 30-40 games the next 3 years and a HC should be fired after that. We have 5 scholarship players and 2 and none are any good. We return 0 starters. If you expect us to rebound from this quickly, I don't know what to tell you

no knowledge, but wouldn't suprise me: I wonder ifthe players/recruits thatyou mentioned were told that the "benifits" that Stans promised them are no longer on the table with the new coach. I may be way off base, but I have a hard time understanding why Hood would sit out a year when his original plan was to play two years and declare for the NBA. He will now be forced to wait 3 years before considering this and will have to re-establish himself in the minds of the NBA teams due to riding the pine for a year.

I've come to the realization that this was going to happen (rats jumping ship) no matter when Stans left. So I say get the **** over with and move forward sooner rather than later. I'm glad Scott kicked his *** to the curb.

Did I say we would rebound from this quickly? What does that have to do with why you and brutius think Ray cant coach? Can you see into the future?<div>

Also I see your statement was topped greatly by Rutherford who fell for the animal signature. Morans.

Since you asked, here is some thoughts:<div>
<div>*He couldn't get Hood to stay.<span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">(Hood wants to play in the NCAAT and that is not happening next year at MSU)</span>
</div><div>*He couldn't get Pollard to come.<span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">(Pollard was never coming to us anyway, too much $$)</span>
</div><div>*He couldn't get Josh Gray to come. <span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">(Gray was has dollar signs in his eyes)</span>
</div><div>*He hasn't signed a player, even promising immediate playing time. (OM has oversigned and USM signed a JC without a head coach.) <span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">Really, he hasn't had enough time to recruit players, there is no doubt that the Bears and Eagles have been on their recruits all year long. I will judge his recruiting by who he signs next year, not this year.</span>
</div><div>*He met with one recruit that has grade troubles and didn't even discuss a plan to get him in school. (Recruit's mom called one of our ex-coaches for help.) <span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">I assume you are talking about Fred Thomas, I find this hard to believe.</span>
</div><div>*Ran into a very big booster yesterday that has 8 floor level seats. He is going to only buy 2 next year to send a message to Scott S.<span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">(There are some very pissed boosters about how our old coach was run off, and it is expected. If they don't want to support our school, then screw them...)</span><br style="font-weight: bold;"></div><div>*Ran into another big booster today that is doing the same.<span style="font-weight: bold;"> </span><span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">(Sorry your old buddy and coach is gone)</span>
</div><div>*When we only win a few games (look at the players that remain and freshmen will have a transition to the SEC), the Hump will be empty.</div><div><span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">(And who caused this problem? Our old coach left our program in a dumpster fire, it will take years to recover, it's not Coach Ray's fault)</span>
</div><div>Hope this helps.</div><div>
</div> </div>
Until I see him coach a season at MSU and what type of players he can bring in next year, I am 100% behind Coach Ray. Now that could change next year, but only time will tell.

His objective per his first presser were:
1.Keep Hood
2.Hold together recruiting class (esp Gray)
3. Work hard

It would be safe to say he is 1 for 3. By his own words he has failed his first 2 objectives. I'm all the way behind him and the team moving forward but acting like he is off to a great start is delusional, like anderlin21
