I believe I was in the last group to sled down the big hill (Jan 2012). It's sad that campus will be losing that spot when it snows.

A scaled back version of Cotton Mills (convention center, hotel, parking garage) is a go (last I heard anyway). New developer had secured funding and everything. I wouldn't hold my breather on anything else in your post though.

Cotton Mill is not 100% wrapped up yet. Due to some IHL by laws, this deal will require some legislative changes, which hopefully will addressed in early January when the session begins.

The quality of that video tells me we have people on campus who can put together a solid product. In other words there really is not much excuse for the weak *** **** we often see associated with the f'n athletic program.
