MSU-related: Tony Stewart partners with MSU scientists to study deer-related issues

Even if you aren't a NASCAR fan, this is great publicity and exposure for MSU. Over the years, Tony has become one of the more likable NASCAR drivers out there, so its pretty cool to see his foundation partner up with State on a project like this. Also, just to clarify, Tony's property is in Columbus, Indiana

Tony Stewart is turning his Hidden Hollow Ranch into “a 414-acre
laboratory” for Mississippi State University wildlife biologists for
their study of habitat, overpopulation and other deer-related issues.

And marrying his interests in wildlife preservation and providing
outdoor opportunities for young people, he is locking in his commitment
to host children with life-threatening illnesses to outdoor experiences
on his Columbus property.

The two-time NASCAR champion racer made the announcement Monday morning
at his Columbus home, and although he did not name a dollar figure
pledged, said he expects his Tony Stewart Foundation to be a long-time
partner with the scientists and the Catch-A-Dream Foundation.
