Just went to purchase the PPV on AT&T U-Verse receiver, and it tried to charge me $50! Looks like I'll be watching it on HailState.TV, for significantly less...

Do you ever go to games? If so, how much do you spend? Come on, $50 isn't bad. I don't use hailstate tv but if the quality is good, then I get it.

$50 is

about par for the course on PPV. Why not invite 5-6 friends over and split it? Just a thought.

If I did not work Saturdays, I'd be there. I could drive my Camry Hybrid from/to Gulfport, buy a 2nd hand ticket, eat a bad hotdog (while simultaneously dreaming of a Juicy Jumbo), drink from a feces cup, and Tinkle in a Templeton Trough, for just a hair over that.

I was expecting the AT&T markup to be the $5-$10 range, for a $30 PPV. Not $20...

Thats pretty funny. Try what Kurt recommended, what about getting some folks to go in with you?

I got U-verse for a year, just to subsidize the internet installation. I have a feeling, after the 1 year price bump from special rate, I'll be back to DirecTV at the end of my contract.

Being that I don't even get to start watching the game until around 8:30, I'll take the savings that my present membership to HailState.TV affords.

Everyone I know, that "would" chip in, will be in StarkVegas anyway...

The main disadvantage from working in the Casino Business: Holidays/Weekends on site. I have to take Vacation, Which I am doing for MTSU & Texas A&M, in order to make games.
