I don't understand why the author of this article seems so appalled. This is a single, hand-written note that addresses family on Mother's Day. Sending out 50 mass-printed pamphlets in 50 straight days is ridiculous, not directly and personally addressing the concerns of recruits and their families. This is an example of how it *should* be done.
Anybody else find the player's name (Chase Johnson) to be a rather unfortunate circumstance? That was probably one of Drake and Zeke's bad baby names.
Probably a fan of a rival fan base, but you're right. This is well done.
I'm confused why this recruit, who doesn't have an offers, got a card and no other recruits have (that we know of).
Rhythmic clap for Dan. He has to find a way to connect better with families (mommas) of these recruits. With Mullen being a yankee, I think it's harder for him to do that. Families from the south just trust southern men more than they trust yankees. It's not his fault but it's something that might have held us back on landing some recruits in the past. This is a good sign that he is trying to change his tactics and I like it.
Cecil Newton didn't have any problem telling Cam to go to Auburn.I wonder if you can personally contact parents--as in a call or home visit-- independent of seeing their kids.

I agree. Being a Yankee makes it much harder to recruit in the South.
Sincerely,
Nick Saban
