Do mountain west champs have a decent shot at playoffs? Doesn't look like it this year. Maybe he's thinking AAC is better path for playoff chances? It’s probably harder to win at Memphis than UNLV. Might not be a great idea.
Maybe he is putting himself into position to take over the MSU job when it comes open next November.
AAC is better conference and FedEx will throw money at it.Do mountain west champs have a decent shot at playoffs? Doesn't look like it this year. Maybe he's thinking AAC is better path for playoff chances?
Hurts that he has two losses and both are weak then Boise State has fourDo mountain west champs have a decent shot at playoffs? Doesn't look like it this year. Maybe he's thinking AAC is better path for playoff chances?

how the 17 does anything in Vegas have Financial problems
Commuting is one option (didn't Sirmon commute from Tuscaloosa, or some other far-flung place ?). We can see if Mullen buys a $10M house in Memphis. If he doesn't, he's headed back to Starkville. **He can commute to Memphis from Starkville & be all set for next November
I think Memphis would be a fine stepping stone, but it's unnecessary unless UNLV is telling him they aren't going to be able to pay him.Last three coaches at Memphis have come out with good jobs (VT, FSU, Ark). Don’t know current NIL relative to others in conference. UNLV financial situation may be a factor
Actually, he's playing Boise State tonight. Boise is a a bit far from New Orleans.Mullen/UNLV playing tonight at 7 on Fox.
Ahhhhh, that takes me backMullen definitely been job shopping this week. Down 21-0
