I'm wondering when Mullen is going to sign his first big recruit. A player from out of the state that he pulls in to get the ball rolling. Do you think he can land some quality players from the state of Florida or Texas? Will it take signing Russell, Patterson, and Bumphis to jump start this recruiting motor?

Or are we banking on landing these local kids? I hoping we can add some new names to the list. I hate to be a "glass is half empty" kind of guy, but I get the feeling that on signing day we may be left scratching our heads and wondering why some of these guys did sign with us.
McPhee is probably going to be the biggest impact on this signing class if he does sign. All the Jucos will possibly start or at least give good depth. White could start at MLB, McPhee at DE, new punter and kicker. Berry should help out the WRs. Langston will help in special teams and either CB or WR, I guess whereever we need him the most.
This is shaping up to be a really good class not only in the calibur of player we are bringing in but the positions they play. We are getting really good players at positions we had big needs.</p>

Do you think we will get any Florida recruits that were looking to play for Mullen before he took MSU head coaching job?
