You know good and well that read play has little to nothing to do with speed.
The MWC and the WAC schools used to all be in the WAC (16-team league). The good schools got tired of being dragged down by the ****** ones, so the left and formed the MWC.RebelBruiser said:I still don't see why the best teams from each of those leagues don't get together and form a power MWC/WAC league and leave the others behind.
I think it's more because Relf was damn near unstoppable in the Egg Bowl, he's a junior, he has experience, and Russell is a freshman. But hey that makes too much sense and doesn't fit your agenda. But our offense requires a mobile QB. Has it ever popped up in your
mind why Russell, with a more accurate arm, and who is almost assuredly
a brighter individual than Relf, is probably not going to win the QB
job?

I guess you never saw Steve Young play.Coach34 said:"Who the **** DOESN'T want a legit dual threat qb"

Well, that depends on what you want your QB to do. Barry Switzer had Troy Aikman and Jamelle Holieway at OU in the 80's. One could run the option and one couldn't. One transferred to UCLA and one QB'd the Sooners to an NC. Care to guess who did what?In college, you probably go with the passer 90% of the time.
