Was it worse than the video looked? I agree that was uncalled for, but I was expecting both benches to clear and an all-out melee in order to get a team's season canceled...
I call Madison Central's district
which Murrah and Vicksburg just to happen to be part of- the Jerry Springer district because of the fact that every program in the district is dysfunctional in some way shape or form. Good to see Murrah and Vicksburg take it to the next level.

If a player leaves the bench area in the event of a fight, or if they are on the field, moves toward the fight, he (or she, i guess) is immediately disqualified. They don't even have to participate. I'll go on a spill here... but college and professional athletes teach kids the way to handle a fight is to immediately run and get involved, thus, clearing the benches. Very unfortunate.
