It was every bit as bad as you say, and yes, it was an advantage. It will probably cause whichever bowl we go to next to disallow cowbells. </div><div>For all my poking fun and criticism of the ridiculous line-splitting "responsible" campaign, that was the first time I've ever seen the bell noise as a total advantage. Wake's final drive was drowned out. That being said, I don't think Wake wins the game without cowbells, so whatever.</div>
