I guess it would be safe to congratulate Coach Favero on his 100th win as MV coach and to do it with Coach Bateman present is pretty special!
Coach Bateman is the man, built this program in the 90’s, built drewery mason high where they finally beat Martinsville and led them to a state championship game. Coach favero has took the program even higher. Awesome coaches

I can hear coach Bateman now, 24 veer, 21 trap, 36 power, touchdown baby!! God I miss those days.
Shades I believe DM beat Martinsville in the late 60's or around 70. Ask Jim Robertson I believe he was on that team.
1968 DM 13-0 over Martinsville
1972 DM 36-28 over Martinsville
Drewry Mason didn't play Martinsville from 1978-1984 I don't think
1986 DM 6-0 over Martinsville
1987 DM 34-29 over Martinsville
I totally forgot about that cause Jim told me that not long ago we was talking bout it. I do remember the 86,87 games. Just a squirt but it was awesome.
