Reidsville is coming to "the hole" this Friday. Reidsville is one of the most decorated teams in the country as far as football state titles go, so will the MV Warriors be up to the challenge? I thought they would have been last season but Reidsville did what they do best, took care of business on their turf. Will MV protect their own house this Friday or give Reidsville the key to the front door for a second straight year? I sure hope these young warriors protect their house and help keep Favero's very favorable home win record trending upward. What is everyone's thoughts on this matchup?

MV wins this one if Dryus can continue to improve. Offense needs consistency. Impressed the defense could hold JF the way that they did.
Dsh just curious if you watched mv vs JF on film? Roberts came in 2nd half and offense moved the ball good. He made great runs and passes. Roberts looks better at the qb option read also and is harder to bring down when he runs hard. Dryus looks to be very talented also but IMO the offense looks better with Roberts. I was a little puzzled with some play calling against JF but that’s over with now. Coach favero needs to pick a guy and go with it. It’s time to make a decision and stick with it whoever it is, that way whoever it is can gain confidence and learn to be the man under center. I’ve heard Reidsville was very talented again this year so it will be a big test. Hopefully a good close game.
I watched a little bit on Hudl. MV looks a lot better than they did last year. I’m rooting for the Warriors to win Friday. Very tall task.
Moving to thursday will do no good as far as weather....Hurricane will already make landfall by thursday evening and rains will probably already be here.....Should be moved to Wed........
Even by playing Wednesday its suppose to rain which could effect both teams. Reidsville is young this year with a few sophmores playing in key roles. Reidsville Defense is stout as always, Offense not as potent as in the past due to youth and mental mistakes, but they can still hurt you with their fast athletic receivers if you get caught looking in the back field. I Believe Reidsville wins by 21.
Shades, Morehead scored with 4-5 to go to make it 14-13 but Reidsville blocked the xp. Morehead then went onsides kick and got it back and drove down and had a short fg to win the game. But Reidsville blocked that and returned it all the way for a td on what I think was the last play of the game to win 20-13.
It was 14-0 Morehead at the half against Martinsville then the Panthers ran back the 2nd half kick off and it was a total blowout after that. Morehead had some good skill people, especially #8. Really fast. I didn't think they would hang that tough with the Rams, but strange things happen in hs football. MV will have their hands full tonite.
Not that matters too much, but i was under the impression that the bulk of the "2 deep" that OldBengal posted a while back were pretty much all juniors and seniors. There is the Hairston kid at QB and perhaps 1 or 2 others. They have an enormous junior class if i remember seeing the roster correctly.
