MVP of the SEC

At this point in the season who is everyone's MVP?

I'm going with Devin Downey, because Carolina is nothing without him. John Wall would be my second and possibly first pick but Kentucky could still win without him.

But he's definitely the MVP and probably should still get player of the year. What makes Downey even more impressive is the fact that every team he faces at this point knows he's the only threat on his team, so they design their entire defense to stop him, yet he's still getting around 30 a game in SEC play. It's one thing to get 30 a game if you have another scoring threat to take the attention off you. He has nothing. He has one guard and one big man that both have some potential offensively, but neither are a threat.

I thought we did a great job against him defensively in taking him out of his game, probably as good as anyone has done on him in an SEC game this year, and he went for 25. The guy amazes me, especially to do it at his size.

I don't disagree with you, but if you've watched Downey play you'll agree that there is probably not another SEC player that plays and hard as he does and is the most valuable to his team.
