The Battered Bastards of Baseball
I just watched this Netflix Documentary tonight. I hadn't seen it mentioned here, so I thought I'd share the joy. It's a little over an hour long. I'd never even heard of this team, The Portland Mavericks. It was before my time. Fantastic piece. A great story and very well put together. It'll make you remember how and why you loved the game the way you used to. Pulling for State baseball is the only thing that comes close (especially last year). Enough of my ramblings.
