Jerry wants someone he can control. That way he can take the credit for whatever success they achieve. He didn't like Jimmy because everyone understood that he was the reason for the Cowboys' success. Jerry didn't get the attention he thought he deserved. Barry won with the players Jimmy brought in. Ever since it's all been about Jerry. Wade ain't going to rock the boat. He has made a lot of money due to Jerry's ego.
