So this is the greatest Alabama team of all time? Now, if someone said we'd faced no one of this quality this year, I'd agree. I expect them to whup our ***, but I think we can stay in it if we don't make any major mistakes. I can't see us winning, but I couldn't see us winning in 80 (didn't realize the talent on our team after the USM debacle) nor did I think we could win in 96 (actually dreaded going to see that ***-whipping, got liquored up, & had a great time).

IF they are that good, we should be # 1, if we win. I used to think we only

would have a claim on 3, but if they are the best team ever and we win AT their place, no homecoming...then anyone who does not vote us # 1, is probably a communist.
