Definitely. Looked like UConn went through the wringer the last 3 days and SJU looked as fresh as they came off a bye week. I expected the complete oppositeuconn got destroyed, makes you put more context to our game huh?
Till he takes Hines in the portalThis is the first time I wanted St. John's to win anything. Much respect to their team, especially Zuby, and Pitino's comments about SHU and Sha seemed genuine and are appreciated.
The St. John's fanbase has been cockily discussing that as if it's a foregone conclusion.Till he takes Hines in the portal
He is going to sign extension within the next few weeks. Only hold up is Massiello’s role post his retirementSince his meltdown against us when he said they have ****** facilities and no lateral quickness, he has gone 41-4 in regular season and 7-1 in BET. It is just amazing. He certainly has benefitted from NIL money, but the guy is just amazing. Counting down his days til retirement.
Maybe Jr. follows dad? If it is Massiello, strikes me as stop gap: similar to Brian Maloney after Looie. He is going to sign extension within the next few weeks. Only hold up is Massiello’s role post his retirement
By ten yes, but made 6 from intentional fouls...not that they couldn't have scored 6 anyway....but could have been less.Wow. I posted a week or so ago that I thought UCONN’s perimeter play was wearing down late in the season. They looked awful tonight. Hope Danny rallies them for the NCAAT. And yes, SHU gave SJ their toughest game. But SJ still beat us by 10.
They will have the dinero. The St. John's fanbase has been cockily discussing that as if it's a foregone conclusion.
I thought UConn had an easier semifinal and SJU might be the tired team on Saturday night. I couldn't have been more wrong. But lucky for Danny his guys are done playing 3 games in 3 nights. For the sake of the conference, hope they're ready to go.Wow. I posted a week or so ago that I thought UCONN’s perimeter play was wearing down late in the season. They looked awful tonight. I disagree with he'd never come here. I wanted him over Sha. The guy was stuck in Iona and what would've happened if Mike Anderson's team clicked in 2022-2023. Does anyone really think in 2022 Pitino was willing to take that risk? I'm not looking to have a beer or Italian dinner with the guy, but he would navigate this sleezy world better than anyone. He probably would've pissed a lot of the good ole boys off, but he wouldn't accept 4 years of no tournament games.remember when most people on this board didn't want to touch pitino? (not like he'd ever come here in a zillion years )

Would much rather hear we called and he didn't pick up than your guess. That's the right business thing to do.Would have never even picked up the phone to listen
Basically known to told please do not call meWould much rather hear we called and he didn't pick up than your guess. That's the right business thing to do.
I still dont want to touch him and the BE should be embarassed with SJ hiring the quick tablescrewer and XU hiring the biggest cheater in college hoops. Oh well, maybe this is just foregiving, like Jesus would do...remember when most people on this board didn't want to touch pitino? (not like he'd ever come here in a zillion years )
