The RAT makes an appearance.

Jarvis Varnardo will hold Patterson to about 12 points.
Jodie Meeks will have an off night, scoring 13 points and ending his nine game 20+ streak

Someone will go off for 25 and we'll lose by 7,</p>

he's long and athletic and plays the 4. while varnado and patterson lean on each other, he'll clean the boards with our 4 guard lineup and get some easy put-backs/dunks.

if we can keep meeks under 20, i like our chances. varnado will frustrate patterson like you said.

Yeah, I agree that we are gonna give up 20 points to someone, probably Patterson or Meeks. But if we can keep an individual from doing that, I like our chances. Rick needs to play a bigger lineup. With Elgin and Brian back, I really hope we give them alot of different looks in the post. Have Jarvis in with Osby. Take Osby out then put in Kodi. Take out Jarvis and put in Elgin. Just rotate in and out our big guys and force them to make outside shots because when we have two bigs in the game, and especially when one of them is Jarvis, people dont go to the hole. Jarvis and Elgin are our best blockers, but Kodi and Osby both can do the same. I think we need to go bigger for us to win tonight, but im not gonna hold my breath...

We will lose because......

UK "was just hot" shooting the basketball.
MSU's shots "were not falling".

Or at least that will be the excuse when Meeks makes a dozen wideopen 3s with a MSU defender 10 ft. away running at him. And Barry takes a dozen off balance, pull up on a dead sprint with a hand in face shots.

Then again Gilispie might be the worst floor coach in the league. So, UK might leave a few of our guys open. Then we lose by a close margin.

It is a tough place to play and Billy G needs a win worse than we do...

Meeks will score 20+ points easy, that guy can ball..
Patterson will have a double double.
Swat will spends some major time on the bench with fouls.
Rick will stay with the 4 guards b/c he is in love with that lineup and that will be a BIG mistake against UK..
MSU will shoot less than 35% from 3 point land, with Randy going 2-9.
Ravern will have a pretty good first half 12 points, but UK will adjust and slow him down in the 2nd half..

I hope I am wrong and we win by 10, but I don't see it...
Go Dawgs.......

I wouldn't be surprised to see Josh Harrelson get significant minutes tonight. He's 6'10" and shoots above 30% from behind the arc. Obviously, he doesn't make his living from out there, but he's the largest body we have, and will spell Stephenson and Patterson at times. If MSU stays with the 4-guard lineup, I expect to see Harrelson play 15-20 minutes.

He obviously won't beat MSU, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him get 12 and 8 tonight either.

I thought that's what RAT was, but I didn't know if 12 and 8 from a guy that has done it four or five times this year would qualify. He's a Random *** dude to Bulldogs fans, but this season he has scored in bunches while playing only 10-15 minutes, then disappearing at the end of the bench. I thought maybe he needed to have 20+ to qualify as a RAT.

I think Stephenson could have a big game, but I don't see him getting 20+. I see Patterson getting to that number more easily, if only because he's getting much better at getting to the line this season, and shoots a much higher percentage than Stephenson.

Glad to be back, lawdawg. Mrs. BigBlue is on my cell phone and simply read your text aloud a moment ago.
