Hough & Butler are the only two games worth watching on this schedule. It’s a below average schedule at best.

If they are as good as I think they are and stay healthy they should be 12-0 after getting a bye in round one and beating someone in the 2nd round. They will probably get one of these teams at home in the 3rd round....Vance, Creek, Richmond , Hough, Page or possibly West Forsyth.
The only game on that schedule that is even intriguing is the game in Cornelius.
I'm sorry but MP vs creek will b a creek blowout. I'm sorry MP isnt physical enough....yeah I said it.
Losing Evans & some of the staff was a huge lost to MP. He was the coach that brought toughness to the program. Offensively they really rely on their passing game. Protection across the OL & defense will have some question marks. Different team different year indeed!

you base this off of one game and it's suppose to be the norm, it's not. Who's to say the new coaches and maybe new recruits and even the new kids from JV may not be better than last years O-line version, I hear they have some good kids on the line! MP will be ready!I heard

Nope! They're not! They all participated in the Trench Corp VTO during the Spring. Lot of upside, but not enough their to protect the type front 7's they'll be facing this year. Which will be elite. Skill guys are nice, but you gotta have the bigs.

Just like MC's play off game where the line sucked, so did MP's in the Vance game, in other games they played well. It's always a game to game situation with young teams and consistency.

Same could be said for any team. The issue for MP is that with that schedule they will have no idea if those kids are truly better until either the 2nd or 3rd round of the playoffs.
Same with me...I remember when I 1st joined on here when brand 1st got hired and I was always on that "if this happen" and "hopefully that happens" and me n the MC faithful use 2 butt heads. Overtime as ur team gains success..win big games n loss big games...the facts come out n u see what's the difference between your team and theirs. I'll throw some facts that I do know and I'll use last season as an example
. MC was the best team in the state and was the victim of looking past a team that they beat earlier during the season.
If wake was in the west they would have lost in the 3rd or 4th rd.
Hough was the 2nd best team in the state but they based their heavy passing offense around a QB that couldnt throw a baseball threw a hula hoop.
How explosive RC was their defense couldn't stop a cold n it showed when they met a decent offense in MP.

Lol you kidding me lol Charlotte folks hate on Wake Forest is next level. Wake has won 3 straight state championships beating Charlotte teams in the championship game. But now if Creek played wake last year Creek wins by 21. Like Wake beat them in the ship by 21 a couple of years ago. Guess we will never know since Creek didn't even win a playoff game last year. If was a betting man I'm putting my money on Wake to win it again.
The east need 2 get good n give them some comp or they're going 2 cakewalk 2 the ship again. And seeing what wake had last yr...how their jv did n what they lost. Wakes championship run will end this yr.
So no 4 peat??? I can tell you with 100% the success or failure of a JV team don't mean much. When your team is in an area like Charlotte or Wake you know good players will show up from other schools. They been good for awhile beating everyone including the mighty Creek and Vance. But if they played Creek they getting blower out. But the didn't cause Creek could not win a playoff game. Maybe one of the Charlotte teams can stop this 4 peat?
For 1 vance isnt mighty we havent won a thing yet. And for 2 running the offense they run takes a while 2 get down. U cant jus come from a random school n plug in and do what they do. Jus like catholic who runs that same scheme...it takes learning n being groomed in that to b proficient. I'm not saying they will b harding n drop off the map.. but they will not b as mighty as previous yrs.
