I think shaq might be the biggest sellout ever. He does commercials from Oreo, the general, ice hot, his back pain commercials, and now one for security at your house called ring which I'm sure you have all seen. If he could do tampon commercials he would in a heartbeat beat. I'm surprised progressive hasn't approached him about doing commercials with flo. He would be a perfect candidate for that V.I.Poo the shot you spray so when you take a dump your **** doesn't stink as bad. I bet when that man has crushes about 30 white castles and it's time to destroy the throne I bet the smell is could literally be used in place of what's used in the gas chamber to put people to death.

Flipping channels and I see GnR in concert on MTV Live so I keep flipping back to it every now and then to catch a song here and there. On one such journey a commercial comes on for a show on MTV called "Teen Moms 2".

A couple of things occurred to me...each of which amazed me and pissed me off at the same time.

1) there is a show on TV glorifying becoming a mother as a teenager. How effing stupid is that?

2) since there is a 2 in the name of that show it means this show has been renewed for a second season.

WTF? Eff every one of the sponsors, producers, crew, viewers, etc...

/rant (with the caveat that I reserve the right to return to ***** about this topic in the future)

What's weird is that if you go back 3-4-5 generations, there were a lot of child brides and teenage moms.

My point is dide is worth 300 million without doing lame *** Oreo/general/doorbell commercials. He's set for life. It's almost looks as though he has to do them just to keep from going broke not to mention the gif he has on tbs. I bet his alimony Is a real ***** though. Iirc he got divorced a few years ago. I'm sure that plays a part in the commercials he constantly does. I guesss the good part is it's not movies or music.

Speaking of which - I guess I'm old or a prude, but young girls are now normalized for being sexual. It's nasty times we live in. I'd send my daughter out in a burka if I had a daughter (or a burka).

1) As an uncle of 5 nieces, apparently it's a thing on Facebook that young girls to take provocative selfies featuring their asses popped out. 40 years ago this was akin to controversial Calvin Klein underwear ads. Now? No biggie.

2) 4th of July: go to town family-fun fireworks display and every girl above age 12 (not one or two) are wearing Daisy Duke's. Parents are brain dead buying this crap for their kids.

The thing is, you talk to these kids and they're just as sweet, innocent and childlike as any buttoned-down era girl.

It's the wrapper. The presentation. Horrible.

There is a liberal on my facebook that is mad at people for making comments about our local sheriff's office arresting a person for possession of meth. By her logic they shouldn't have arrested them cause he's not a dealer.

Can't fully confirm this yet, but I think the clothing industry has a lot to do with why preteen/teen girls looks like whores. Luckily I'm a few years out. I put part of the blame on the demise of the jean short. Looking back at my old pictures the other day, all the young lasses wore jorts so long that even when rolled up and pegged (not that way, Willy) they were damn near below the knee. Such shorts do not exist any longer. Little girls should be able to wear whatever they want because little boys sure as hell do. But if you can't go to the Walmarts or the Tarzhay without finding what most of us deem as 'appropriate' then I'm not sure what to do.

I have a theory, though, that the latest trend in shorter basketball shorts will correlate in longer regular shorts.
