I know some people aren't exactly house cat fans but today has been kinda hard on my household especially the wife. But I enjoyed our cat as well. Had him for 11 years and you get used to having him around and such. He was a package deal when I married the wife. You get attached to animals I don't care what people say. We had our moments but I wish I we had more of those moments with him. We received not good news about our house kitty. His kidneys were shut down. They have put him on fluids to see if there is any change. The prognosis is not good. The odds of having to put him down are pretty good. He's eleven years old. I got pretty used to having him around the house. He was a package deal when I married the wife. Me and him had gotten pretty close and had many a conversation. I will definitely miss him. My wife is taking it pretty hard. The year 2020 took my grandmother and now almost a year apart 2021 is gonna take my kitty friend. Fall time is becoming my least favorite part of the year when it used to be my favorite.

Thanks! It's really hard on the Mrs. It was her cat. I hate it for her. I know it's only a cat and it with time it will be ok. In the short term while we wait on his numbers (unlikely they change) it's just kinda sad knowing he's at the vet alone basically waiting to pass on.
Vet called today. The fluids helped his numbers. The vet thinks there is hope albeit small. He wants to try fluids at home for a few days and go from there. I told giz if he keeps fighting I'll fight for him. So here goes nothing.

Man I've said it before, but it bears repeating -- ESPN's "projections"/"probabilities"/"chance" of winning" suck. I'm convinced they spew out that crap just to eff with your head. I have learned to never trust them. Oh sure, I'll make out my lineup solely by them, but I never, ever, trust them.
